President Donald J. Trump brought the America First message to northwest Georgia on Friday, Oct. 16, headlining a midterm rally in Dalton. Patriots lined up hours before he even left the White House, and the venue was full before he arrived.
Air Force One touched down at Dobbins Air Reserve Base in Marietta, and the President made the trip to Dalton to rally Georgians to turn out for the Republican ticket in November.
One moment from the speech quickly spread online. Talking about his dealings in the Middle East, the President said: "You know, if you're in doubt about somebody's name from the Middle East, just say Mohammed. You got about a 65% chance. 'Hello, Mohammed.' I've done it for years now. I've never been wrong."
The Dalton stop is part of a busy campaign push. After Georgia, President Trump heads to Florida for the evening as he crisscrosses the country for the midterms.
Georgia voters can make their voices heard in November. Check your registration and early voting options with your county elections office.
