President Donald J. Trump laid out the stakes of the midterms in one sentence Monday night in Park City, Kansas. “The Democrat agenda is a plan to extinguish Western civilization,” he told the crowd.
The President said the Democrats’ biggest sin was the open border. “The worst thing they did to us is allowing 25 million people into our country, totally unchecked, totally unvetted, and many of them were hardcore criminals, 11,888 murderers,” he said. Then he delivered the good news: “We have them in our country. We’ve gotten most of them out. We’re getting the rest of them out very soon.”
Trump ran through the rest of the Democrat platform. “They want to shut down our power plants. They want to set loose the criminals,” he said, and “turn your children transgender, confiscate your money, and raise up the Palestinian flag right, right in the middle.” At the same time, he said, “they’re willing to defile our great and very beautiful American flag.”
His answer drew a roar from the Kansas crowd: “We’re not going to let that happen.”
The choice on November 3 is simple. One side closed the border and is sending criminal aliens home. The other let them in. Patriots in Kansas and across the country know which side protects their families, their energy, their money and their flag.
