President Donald J. Trump gave Kansas a simple warning Monday night: the Democrats will do it all again. “They gave us the worst inflation in American history, the highest energy prices in American history,” he told his rally in Park City, adding “the worst trade deficit in American history,” and that “they allowed 25 million people to pour across our borders from all over the world.”
The President even joked about the fact-checkers. When critics say the inflation was only the worst in 48 years, he said, “I actually think 48 years sounds worse.”
Then he spelled out what is on the ballot. “If they win the midterms, they will do it again. They’ll get rid of the border. They’ll get rid of all the tax cuts,” Trump said. “We have no tax on tips and no tax on overtime, no tax on Social Security” for seniors.
The White House put Kansas numbers behind that record on Monday. About 500,000 Kansas seniors benefit from the new senior deduction, and Kansas taxpayers saw average refunds of $3,453 in 2026. Kansas secured $222 million in first-year Rural Health Transformation funding, the sixth-largest award in the country. More than $735 million has gone to nearly 53,000 Kansas farmers through the Emergency Commodity Assistance Program, and Fiserv is opening a fintech hub in Overland Park that will create 2,000 jobs. The White House also said the Kansas crime index rate reached its lowest level in 57 years.
Lower taxes, safer streets, a closed border and money back in farmers’ pockets. Kansans face a clear choice on November 3, and President Trump is asking them to keep the Golden Age going.
