President Trump did not hold back on Rep. Ilhan Omar. In the Oval Office on Tuesday, a reporter asked whether the Minnesota Democrat could be deported. “Well, she could be,” the President said. “She could also go to jail. You know, they keep talking about deportation. No, she could go to jail.”
“This is just my opinion,” Trump continued. “I think she’s a sick, very dishonest person who hates our country.” He blasted her homeland of Somalia in blunt terms, saying it has “no government” and no real police protection, and then turned to her attitude toward America: “She wants to tell us how to run the United States of America.”
“She’s a disgrace to our country,” the President said. “And it’s amazing that she can get elected.”
Trump also spoke about what has happened to her home state. “I remember Minnesota in the old days. What a beautiful… with lakes all over the place,” he said. “So beautiful. They’re destroying it.” He said he hopes a respected Republican woman wins in Minnesota, “because you will see a difference.”
The exchange came at the launch of the President’s Fraud Whistleblower Incentive Program, where he honored citizen journalist Nick Shirley for exposing alleged fraud in Minnesota. For Patriots, the message is clear: President Trump will keep calling it like it is, two weeks before the midterms.
