President Trump ended his Clemson University rally on Wednesday night the way the movement began: with a promise to keep winning. Standing at the presidential podium before a packed South Carolina arena, the President looked back on a decade of history and ahead to what comes next.
“So we’ve already made unbelievable progress, and now we will reach new levels of greatness,” Trump said. “And I will tell you, levels of greatness that nobody ever thought possible.”
“It’s my honor to be your President during such an exciting time in the life of our country,” the President told the crowd, which roared back its approval.
Then he reflected on how far the movement has come. “So I was thinking today, because we’ve been doing this now for 11 years, and there’s never been anything like it, and there never will be anything like it,” Trump said. “It’s really something that the world has never seen before.”
His closing charge was simple, and it is the message of the final stretch before the Nov. 3 midterms. “So let’s get out and let’s do what we do better than anyone else,” the President said. “We win. We know how to win.”
