Tennessee’s Highway Patrol is reinforcing the Polk County flood fight. “Troopers are in Polk County assisting residents, local and state authorities with flooding recovery,” the Tennessee Highway Patrol posted Thursday afternoon.
The message to the public is clear and life-saving: “Troopers are requesting that if you do not need to be in the flood damaged area, then do not enter.” Curiosity traffic slows rescues and puts more people at risk.
The THP deployment builds on TEMA’s earlier Level 4 activation of the State Emergency Operations Center for Polk County flooding. Tennessee agencies are stacking up — emergency managers, troopers, and local partners — to get families back on their feet.
That is how competent, America First state government works: activate early, put uniforms on the ground, warn the public, and keep sightseers out of the way so recovery can move.
Patriot Oasis will keep following official THP, TEMA, and Governor’s Office updates. Stay out of floodwaters, heed troopers, and keep Polk County in your prayers.
