WASHINGTON — The men who held the line on the Rio Grande did not mince words in the Rose Garden. National Border Patrol Council President Paul Perez stood with President Donald J. Trump at Thursday’s first responders lunch and delivered the verdict every Patriot already knows in their bones.

“For all the first responders here, I can tell you, I speak for all of us,” Perez said. “When we say we have never had the support or leadership from any administration that we have from you — and it’s because of you that America is stronger, America is safer, and the border is totally secure because of you and your leadership.”

He did not stop at the border scoreboard. “This is going to be the greatest administration in the history of this country,” Perez said. “Thank you for everything you do for us, sir.” He also thanked the President for the care he has taken with the White House itself — “a White House that you have taken more care of than any of your predecessors.”

That is the America First record on display: agents backed, the border closed, and the union that represents the thin green line saying out loud what open-borders Democrats never will. Three weeks from Election Day, voters can keep the team that made the border secure — or go back to the chaos. Watch Rapid Response 47’s video.
