WASHINGTON — Charlie Kirk would have turned 33 today. The White House marked the day the way Patriots remember him: “Today, on what would have been his 33rd birthday, our Nation honors the loving memory of Charlie Kirk — a father, husband, Christian martyr, & titan of the conservative movement.”

The tribute video lets Charlie speak for himself. “Only in America is it possible to say, you know what, I don’t like the way the country is going, and to do something about it,” he says. “Take that risk, take that leap of faith, stay involved, trust God and act obediently.” Then the line that defined his mission: “I want you to remember it, it is bigger than you. It’s bigger than me. You are here to make somebody else’s life better, the pursuit of liberty and freedom.”

Charlie built a movement on campuses that the old guard had written off, and he never stopped thanking the people who kept him going. “You know what gives me strength? The hundreds of thousands of you that say, Charlie, keep going.” His faith was at the center of all of it, and the video closes with Charlie proclaiming that Jesus Christ lived, died, and rose on the third day.

The White House closed with a promise: “We renew our resolve to always defend our principles of truth, faith, & the open exchange of ideas.” Happy birthday, Charlie. Keep going, Patriots. Watch the White House tribute video.
