YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio — Columbus Day belongs to the explorers, and President Donald J. Trump is bringing that same America First energy to the Mahoning Valley. Tonight the President returns to the Covelli Centre for a midterm rally locked on Sen. Jon Husted’s hold of the Senate seat and Vivek Ramaswamy’s race for Governor — his second campaign swing through Ohio this month after the Oct. 3 Vandalia stop.
Doors open at 3:30 p.m. Eastern, the program begins at 5:30, and the President is expected around 7 p.m. after organizers pushed the schedule back an hour. Sen. Bernie Moreno is also expected on the America First ticket that built the Golden Age. Tickets are free to the public, four per signup, because this is a workingman’s rally in steel country — not a donor retreat.
Ohio has been Trump Country through three presidential elections, and the Covelli Centre knows the roar: the President packed it in 2017 and again for JD Vance’s 2022 Senate win. Tonight the ask is the same one he gave Tennessee — pretend he is on the ballot, and send Husted, Ramaswamy and the House slate across the finish line on November 3.
For Patriots who watched factories leave and borders open under Biden, Youngstown is the rebuttal in real time: tariffs bringing metal home, a CEA manufacturing boom with 72,000 jobs back, and a President who shows up in the Valley when the Fake News says the map is in play. Watch the Official White House video — and watch Ohio answer tonight.
