WASHINGTON — President Trump is done letting the Biden crowd hide behind Ukraine. Taking questions from reporters on the South Lawn Friday before leaving the White House, the President said the Biden administration was “very corrupt” and “weaponized” — and that it “did a lot of bad things having to do with Ukraine.”
Asked about Hunter Biden and whether Democrats were trying to cover up the real Ukraine scandal, the President didn’t flinch. “The documents speak for themselves,” he said. “The Biden administration was very corrupt, and Hunter Biden and the father and the whole group, they were very corrupt people.” He made clear there is more to come: “I’ll mention the names later.”
“It was a very corrupt, weaponized administration,” Trump said. “And yes, they did a lot of bad things having to do with Ukraine.”
Pressed on Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, the President said he knows the whole story — and that his focus is on stopping the killing. “I know the details, okay? And at some point, I’ll release the details. But I don’t care about anything except for one: I want that war ended,” he said. “Last month it was 32,000 soldiers.”
“I think the two leaders — I deal with both of them — I think they want that war ended too. And I think it’s going to end,” Trump said. “That’s all I care about. I want that war to end.” The same day, he signed the executive order implementing the Graham Sanctioning Russia and Iran Act, which puts a 500% tariff hammer in reserve. That is peace through strength. Watch the President in the White House video above.
