WASHINGTON — The launch was September 29. The law book is today. On October 2, 2026, the Federal Register publishes President Donald J. Trump’s Executive Order 14432 — “Streamlining Access to Government Services Through America.gov” — at 91 FR 63121, Document 2026-20319. Patriots who watched the signing now get the official imprint: America.gov is not a pilot slogan. It is Presidential policy on paper.
This is the additive legal beat, not a rewrite of the Sep 29 unveil. EO 14432 directs the Administrator of General Services, working with the National Design Studio and OMB, to establish and operate America.gov as the single point of entry for covered Federal services online and to integrate Login.gov as authentication. Covered services are public-facing online services that serve more than 100,000 users in a twelve-month period — with IRS tax filing and Department of War / Intelligence Community national-security services carved out.
The order’s purpose reads like an America First customer-service manifesto. For generations Americans wasted hours navigating bureaucracy organized around agencies, not people — roughly 10 billion hours a year on federal paperwork. America.gov flips the model: sign in, speak plain language, get accurate answers, and, where authorized, complete transactions without hopping a maze of agency sites. Right now the questions work. Later come passport renewals, Medicare enrollment, and more as agencies plug in.
Implementation has teeth. Within 90 days of the order, OMB must issue a memorandum to agency heads. Agencies must identify covered services, integrate them securely with America.gov, finish Login.gov integration, and keep feeding GSA and OMB usage data. Privacy stays front-and-center: no centralized dossier of the American people, data minimization, auditable authorization, and existing in-person, phone, and mail options preserved so America.gov is the better door — not the only door.
The White House Video Library is marking the moment too — featuring a fresh Official “America.Gov Launch” reel dated October 2 beside the Hello America welcome short. Super Intelligence powers the answers; Trump’s Sep 29 fact sheet already tied the portal to National Design Studio wins on TrumpRx, Trump Accounts, and cleaner federal sites. Golden Age government means the paperwork moves so families can live.
Race to the Mid-terms voters should hear the contrast. Democrats built labyrinths and called them “equity.” Trump builds one front door, publishes the EO in the Federal Register, and tells agencies to integrate on a clock. Watch the Official White House America.Gov Launch video. The People’s House just put the people’s portal in the permanent record.
