WASILLA, Alaska — President Donald J. Trump did not wait around to unlock the Last Frontier. On Tuesday night he reminded Alaskans exactly what Day One looked like: an Executive Order, signed with Sen. Dan Sullivan’s partnership, taking 51 actions to unleash Alaskan energy production.
“Working with @SenDanSullivan, I also signed an Executive Order on Day One taking 51 actions to unleash Alaskan energy production — including re-opening ANWR for energy exploration and development, bringing billions of dollars to the Great State of Alaska!” the President told the Wasilla crowd.
That is not a slogan. The White House’s same-day Alaska fact sheet lays out the scoreboard: nearly 82% of the National Petroleum Reserve-Alaska reopened to leasing, 1.56 million acres of the Coastal Plain put back on the map, the Ambler Road Project approved, and a Day One order prioritizing Alaska’s oil, gas, minerals and other natural resources.
Energy dominance starts with a signature and ends with paychecks in Alaska. Watch Rapid Response 47’s video of the President’s ANWR line from Wasilla.
