NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Early voting is open across the Volunteer State, and the America First ticket is on the move. From Wednesday, October 14, through Thursday, October 29, registered Tennesseans can cast ballots ahead of the Tuesday, November 3, State and Federal General Election — with photo ID required at the polls.
Sen. Marsha Blackburn, the Republican nominee for governor, cast her early ballot in Brentwood and delivered the message Patriots want to hear: “The big message is: Go vote Marsha Blackburn for governor. We want to get as many people to the polls early as we possibly can.” Sen. Bill Hagerty is seeking re-election to the U.S. Senate, with Democrat Marquita Bradshaw and a field of independents also on the statewide ballot.
Voters will also decide all nine U.S. House seats, odd-numbered Tennessee Senate districts, and all 99 state House seats — plus three constitutional amendments listed right after the governor candidates. Amendment 1 would allow courts to deny bail before trial for specified serious offenses when the proof is evident. Amendment 2 would permanently bar a state property tax. Amendment 3 would expand and clarify crime-victims’ rights. Each needs a yes majority and yes votes totaling more than half of all votes cast for governor.
Check GoVoteTN.gov for your early-voting sites and hours, sample ballot, and Election Day polling place. Absentee ballot requests close October 24. With President Trump’s Working Families Tax Cuts and a secure border delivering for working families, Tennesseans have every reason to vote early and vote America First.
