WASHINGTON — President Donald J. Trump closed a historic State Visit with China’s Xi Jinping the America First way: fair, reciprocal, and built for American workers. The White House fact sheet released after the summit spells out the wins Patriots demanded — coal for U.S. miners, tariff relief aimed at real exporters, and government-to-government boards that negotiate from strength.

Following President Trump’s revival of the U.S. coal industry, China will import at least 10 million metric tons of American coal in 2027 and again in 2028. That is energy dominance turned into export paychecks — not slogans, tons.

Under the Board of Trade, the two countries reached consensus on recommendations for more favorable tariff treatment covering $30 billion of non-sensitive goods in each direction. For U.S. exports, that list includes agricultural goods, fish and seafood, logs and wood products, cosmetics, and medical devices. An agricultural market-access working group is already standing up.

The visit also operationalized the U.S.–China Board of Trade and Board of Investment chartered at the May 2026 Beijing summit — structured channels to clear investment barriers and keep commercially meaningful deals moving. The United States continues pressing for rare-earth and critical-mineral shipments to return to appropriate levels.

This is Golden Age diplomacy: roll out the red carpet when it serves America, lock the leverage when it counts, and bring the wins home to miners, farmers, and manufacturers. Patriots got the proof in writing.
