WASHINGTON — President Donald Trump went straight at the press Saturday with a Golden Age challenge: the numbers are historic, and the legacy media still will not put American success on the front page.
“We have the BEST FINANCIAL NUMBERS EVER, and the FAKE NEWS MEDIA refuses to report them!!!” Trump posted on Truth Social. That is the America First message in one line — results first, spin last.
Leaving the White House, Trump told MS NOW correspondent Akayla Gardner he wants “real news, not fake news.” The exchange landed amid an ongoing battle over White House access after the administration sought to bar CNN, Politico, and MS NOW; a federal judge later restored their credentials. Trump’s point did not change: coverage should follow the facts, not the narrative.
Patriots already see the economy Trump is defending — jobs, investment, and America First leverage from energy to trade. When the President has to shout the wins himself, that tells you everything about the newsroom priorities he is fighting.
The Golden Age standard is simple. Tell the truth about American strength. Credit the workers who built it. And ignore the outlets that refuse to.
